Buriram Utd 1-1 Trat
Chonburi will travel to Thai Honda in the first round of this season’s FA Cup. The match against the T2 side will be played on Wednesday 1st May. Kick off time to be confirmed.
Head coach, Jukkapant Punpee, has been talking to the press ahead of Sunday’s T1 fixture. Here’s what he had to say.
“We are pleased to say that everyone is fit and available for selection for the match against Chiang Mai this weekend. In training, we have been working on our defence, which has been a problem this season, and our offensive play, where we have created lots of opportunities.
It is true that we have had better results, and improved our league position, over the past three games, but we can’t get complacent. We still have to focus on every match and try to improve.
We will meet Chiang Mai this Sunday and they are a good side. They have strong and experienced players, although they lost their most recent match against Chiang Rai United. However, the team that will play against us will be very different. The five loan players who were missing last Friday will be available again and this will mean they are back to full strength.
Our goal for all our home games is to win three points so no matter how difficult the task is, we will try our best for the fans. Please come along to support us and bring along your family and friends to cheer for the team.”
